What is Anima?

Anima Creative is a brand consultancy dedicated to helping clients uncover and express their unique brand identity. It is rooted in a deep understanding of the soul of the business or individual.

At its core, the work is about taking something that exists intuitively — your perspective, your taste, your way of seeing — and shaping it into a cohesive, expressive world that other people can step into.

Most brands struggle to communicate who or what they are because their ideas live in fragments. There’s a sense of what it could be, but no clear through-line connecting the message, visuals, content, and overall experience. The result is something that feels disjointed, inconsistent, or overly influenced by external references.

I help bring those pieces into alignment by uncovering the identity beneath the brand: what it stands for and what makes it distinct. From there, the work is in translating that into creative direction that can actually be executed.

From visual language and tone to content and production, I help establish a clear creative through-line, so that whether you’re building a website, developing a shoot, or creating ongoing content, everything is working from the same place.

In practice, this can look like developing the foundational thinking behind your brand, guiding creative decisions, building out concept directions, overseeing execution, and collaborating with the right people to bring it to life. Sometimes that means creating from the ground up, other times it means refining, redirecting, or expanding what already exists.

The role I play is both interpretive and directive — translating something internal into something visible, and then ensuring it holds its integrity as it moves into the world.

The end product is a brand that feels consistent, intentional, and fully realized in how it shows up, everywhere it exists.

What is Brand Identity?

Brand identity is the creative architecture of your business — the invisible structure that shapes how your story, visuals, and voice fit together. It’s not just what people see or hear; it’s what they feel. Every element of your brand informs and reinforces the others. Colors, typography, imagery, and tone aren’t arbitrary choices — they carry meaning, reflecting who you are and how you want to be experienced.

At its core, brand identity is rooted in psychology. Every creative decision communicates something about your values, your perspective, and your presence in the world. When aligned, these elements create a coherent, felt experience that resonates on both conscious and intuitive levels.

Brand identity isn’t something you invent from scratch. It exists inherently, anchored in the why of your business. The work lies in uncovering it, refining it, and articulating it so that it can be expressed consistently. When it’s clear, decisions become easier. Your voice becomes consistent. Your brand stops feeling like something you have to perform, and starts feeling like something you can stand inside of — fully, confidently, and without compromise.

Who Is this work for?

This is for people who:

  • Feel like there’s more depth to what they’re building than what’s currently being expressed

  • Are tired of trying to fit into branding formulas that don’t feel right

  • Care about meaning, not just appearance

  • Want to build something that connects on a human level

Often, this looks like:

  • Founders building something personal or purpose-driven

  • Creative professionals navigating how to position themselves

  • Brands in transition, growth, or redefinition

How I work

This process is collaborative, intuitive, and structured enough to create clarity without forcing premature answers.

There’s space to explore, question, and refine—but always with the goal of arriving at something grounded and usable.

I am an award-winning creative producer with a decade of experience in video and still photography production, social media marketing, and content creation across a vast array of industries. My background includes filmmaking, creative production, and brand storytelling, which means I’m accustomed to taking something intangible and shaping it into something people can actually see, feel, and understand.

What This Is Not

This work is distinct from:

  • Performance marketing or campaign strategy focused on metrics and paid growth

  • Design studios executing visual assets or branding in isolation

  • Production teams creating content without a defined creative direction

These disciplines are valuable, and often part of a larger ecosystem.

My role is to define the identity and creative direction that gives that work a clear foundation. In many cases, I collaborate alongside these teams, helping ensure that what’s being created feels cohesive, intentional, and grounded in something real.
